Anime Breaker Class Tree Guide: Awakenings, Totems & Progression
The Class Tree in Anime Breaker — Hunter City awakening nodes, Hunter Class Coin farming, the Commandment Totem, and Ant Progression explained.
The Class Tree arrived with the 🌳CLASS TREE update alongside Zone 5 — a permanent awakening board that turns Hunter City farming into account-wide multipliers. It lives in the Teleport menu, on the button beside Hunter City, and costs 1.08 Qi Gold to open.
How does the Class Tree work?
The tree starts at a central Awakening node (1/1) and fans into six branches. Each node is bought with Hunter Class Coins, and the deeper nodes compound — Crit, Energy, and Damage branches are where the value concentrates.
| What | Detail |
|---|---|
| Unlock | 1.08 Qi Gold, from the Teleport menu next to Hunter City |
| Currency | Hunter Class Coins |
| Structure | Awakening (1/1) → six branches; named branches include Mana Surge and Hunter’s Bounty |
| Skip option | “Buy More” lets you convert Emeralds into star tokens to fill nodes |
Recommended path: skip Walk Speed and prioritize the Crit → Energy → Damage branches. The movement nodes feel nice but don’t move your farming rate; the multiplier branches do.
Where do Hunter Class Coins come from?
Three confirmed sources, all inside the Hunter City ecosystem:
- Hunter City enemies — Sword Dancer and Surveillance Chief mobs drop Class Coins alongside Ant Coins.
- Hunter Raid — even Easy difficulty lists Hunter Class Coins in the reward table, and deep wave clears push past 1,000 coins a run.
- Portals — portal clears pay coins across ranks; see the portals guide for the C–S ladder and Shadow Warrior drops.
What is Ant Progression?
Hunter City’s own progression track — 813 Qa Gold to unlock, leveled with Ant Coins from the same mobs that drop Class Coins. It can be set to auto-level, and the capstone is worth the grind: level 100 grants 2× Energy. Hidden Leaf’s Ninja Progression is the same system one world earlier — if you skipped it, it’s worth going back for.
What is the Commandment Totem?
A world totem hidden behind Sin Village’s waterfall in World 4 (the same world as the Lion Sin secret boss). It costs 41.3T Gold to unlock and climbs 10 stages, each fed by one legendary Commandment Fragment:
- Fragments spawn somewhere in Sin Village every 30 minutes and despawn after 15 minutes.
- Each spawn is instanced per player — no racing other farmers to it.
- The world’s enemies can also drop fragments, so farming mobs between spawns isn’t wasted time.
The totem’s stat list is the widest in the game: Energy, Damage, Gold, Card Luck, Card Spins, Gacha Luck, Crit Damage, and extra hero-equip slots — Stage 1 alone bumps both Energy and Damage. Ten stages of all-stat growth makes this the single best long-term sink for Gold once Sin Village is open.
What about the other totems?
Sin Village’s Commandment Totem isn’t the only one — Hidden Leaf’s Red Cloud Totem reaches 4× Energy at Stage 5 and is fed by raid rings and world collectibles the same way. The pattern suggests one totem per later world; we document each in the zones guide as they’re verified.
When should you start the Class Tree?
- Save toward it as you approach Hunter City — 1.08 Qi costs more than Ant Progression’s 813 Qa unlock, but the branches compound into everything else you farm, and earlier unlock means earlier coin income.
- Let Ant Progression auto-level on the same mobs — the two systems share a farm, so every Sword Dancer kill pays both tracks.
- Fold in the dailies — Hunter Raid runs and portal clears double as coin farms; route them per the progression guide while the companions from the Hunter banner carry the damage.
