Anime Breaker Potions & Currencies Guide: What Every Item Does
Every potion type and currency in Anime Breaker explained — Gold, Emeralds, Energy, potion tiers, Currency Boxes, and the best time to use each.
The item economy in Anime Breaker is small but easy to waste: three currencies, five potion types, and loot boxes that tie them together. This page is the reference for what each one does and when spending it is worth it.
What are the three currencies?
| Currency | Source | Spend it on |
|---|---|---|
| Energy | Clicking / auto-click | Your personal power — feeds rank-ups and damage |
| Gold | Defeating NPCs | Card rolls for new companions (50 per spin) |
| Emeralds | Codes, milestones, premium | Character pulls and progression speed-ups |
| Race Coin | NPC drops (~20% on Alien Planet enemies) | Race-related unlocks |
| Alien Raid Ticket | NPC drops (View Drops table) | Raid entries — grants an Energy multiplier on use |
Enemy drop tables are visible in-game on the View Drops panel — for example, Strongest Human drops its avatar at 5%, Gold, an Alien Raid Ticket (×1.5 Energy), and a Race Coin at 20%:

Gold flows freely once auto-click farming is running — it’s the working currency of the early game. Emeralds are deliberately scarce: the active codes (SHUTDOWN, 5KFAVS, 5KPLAYERS) are the biggest free infusion most accounts will see, so route them into companion rolls per the tier list.
What does each potion do?
Codes and drops hand out potions in five flavors, each with a distinct job:
| Potion | Effect | Best moment to pop it |
|---|---|---|
| Damage | Boosts fight damage | Right before a zone-gate push or raid |
| Luck | Improves card roll quality | Immediately before a rolling session |
| Energy | Boosts Energy gain per click | During an auto-click farming run |
| Gold | Boosts Gold drops | While farming a zone’s NPCs |
| Drop | Boosts rare drop chance | Grinding for zone-exclusive avatars/weapons |
Potions come in tiers — code bundles currently award Tier 2 versions. The rule of thumb: potions are force multipliers, so they pay off when you’re already doing the multiplied activity — Luck before rolls, Damage before gates, Energy and Gold while farming.
What are Currency Boxes?
Currency Boxes are bundles that unpack into a mix of the game’s currencies — currently awarded by the SHUTDOWN and 5KFAVS codes. Open them when you get them; there’s no hoarding bonus, and the contents feed directly into the loop described in the beginner guide.
What else drops in the game?
Beyond consumables, enemies and progression award:
- Avatars — character skins themed to each zone’s anime inspiration
- Weapons — equipment that adds to your damage profile
- Rare items — zone-exclusive drops with low rates (Drop potions exist for a reason)
Most of these are zone-locked — check the zone list for what each world can drop.
